Stopped working on the cowling, waiting for right panels (I've ordered some extra 6082 T6 panels and will make some other tests with 5754 H32) It's time to go back to the baggage compartment.
The box is finished and now only the door panel lasts. Trimming the door panel, its smoothed corner to fit exactly the baggage canvas has been longer than I thought. I have some pictures of the factory built GL owned by Tim in UK, and it's baggage door overlays about half an inch over the canvas, and is then hold in place by three wingnut/camlocs. I have made mine a little bit different. My panel will not overlay on the canvas so I need to rivet some angles inside of the box to stop the panel in position.

Furthermore, I am builind two ear-shaped angles to be bolted at the bottom corners of the box, and will be fitted with a couple of same wingnuts/camlocs to hold the door and avoid fluttering into airflow.

the door is almost finished
