My Great Lakes has arrived to Bergamo, Italy

After the "odissey" (read report about the overseas container shipment) the project has finally arrived to Bergamo.
I have to thanks my friend Livio who offered me some space into his factory (I still haven't found a shop!!) and also for let me using his powerful motor-crane to lilf-out the fusalege from the container, with those steep ramps. (it would have been impossible without it)

My father also helped during the operation to ensure everything went the right way.
I now have to build some wooden walls to close the area which will be the temporarly workshop for my project.

The project faces daylight after 50 days around the Atlantic sea..

The lift-out has been a "thrilling" operation

The wheel assy bearing rings have collapsed during shipment

Unfortunately, I noticed that the right wheel assy. has been damaged during transport; probably the aircraft has been hanged-down too tightly and the wheel bearings outer ring have collapsed.
Now will need to be disassembled and inspected for damaged parts and re-assembled.
