Working on the nose ring and cowling supports.I have used pre-formed aluminum angles and shrinked them to meet the reference wood buck. I positioned the horizontal elements as found on the Ryan STA cowling for inline Menasco engine. The nose ring is made of 4 pieces joint and riveted together.
